< might actually remember this one as well. < thinks the worse one was the ad that warned to "never ever drink and drive", and it showed a kid innocently playing in the back garden with a football. Next of all, the person loses control of the car, it flips over the hedge, hits the kid while it's rolling, and the dad runs out crying and picks up his son (who is basically dead), while the man that did it just stood there full of blood with a "what have I just done" expression. < doesn't even think they'd be allowed to make an ad that gruesome these days.PluMGMK wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 8:41 pm < remembers when < was 5 or 6 they had an ad reminding people to check their smoke alarms, which was pretty eerie and gruesome. < ended up being on-edge whenever the TV ads came on because < really didn't want to see it.
Great, just as < types this, the ad comes on about the man driving to work every morning (looks like a Groundhog Day reference) and one morning he crashes since he was always speeding on a 60km/h road.
< says thanks. < is just mostly tired from walking, and of course having to control the dogs for about 5km worth of the walking.
