Now that I think about it, I really wish that all the Bubble Dreamer's super-specific references to the first part of the Swamps of Forgetfulness had been left in the final version of Origins. They make me feel happy on an unjustifiably deep level.

Is there a place where one can see the beta script in its entirety? I tried to use Droolie's method, but I lacked the patience and capability in getting to the script.

Totally true. Rayman 1 has got a special place inside my soul since it was the game I had my first contact with the franchise, and yet I still think that it is a game that survived well to the time passage, it is still as enjoyable as 13 years ago and it has got something so unique that it is a game I'll hardly stop to like. Rayman Origins failed to steal part of my soul, but people will have to agree that the atmosphere between a game and other are totally different. At the same time, I also lamentate that this didn't manage to the final version of RO:

This game deserved a much bigger approach to Rayman 1, I just don't get it.

I remember first RO trailer where there was a teensie photographer, and where Rayman anf Globox got more attacks and it was a prequel and where there were supposed to be 3 episodes. I really wish it stayed like that.

Yeah, most of us wish a lot of things about this series.

I agree on this, expect for the episodes cause that's just awful.

It seemed like Origins was going to be much more loyal to the trilogy in terms of story but the final result was a bit confusing with a return of the Magician which would seem like a gift for long time fans, but his redesign is so far from how people know the character that it doesn't make much impact.

Yup, he did look more R2-esque, initially.

I think Rayman 2 and Rayman 3 have a lot in common in general, it seems that R3 uses the same engine as R2, but upgraded.

Why was the whole original concept of Rayman Origins changed anyways? Explain, Ubisoft. EXPLAAAAAINNN.

I prefer his updated design. It fits and looks more modern.
