Rayman 2 like Jazz Jackrabbit 3D are working very well in Windows 8.1.What about 3D Ripper DX I have problems with opening this program even compatibility mode didn't help?

Hi guys, it would be helpful if you know what I could do with my Rayman 2: The Great Escape, it installs, then I trying to run it nothing happends. I got Rayman 10th Anniversary Collection (Rayman M, Rayman 2, Rayman 3 & Rayman 3 Extra stuff) for pc! (ofc) .

And I got an (x64, Windows 10 system)

It might not be the help thread, but then send me to the right place and I will post it there. Im new so, thanx if you can say it.

After almost a half year have been passed, this posted problem made me attracted to try.
My PC runs Windows 10 Pro 64bit. And I have "Rayman 2" CD, not of the 10th anniversary one but a single article one.
As of 12 June 2016, the original game CD's installer now worked to install the game without any problem nor special compatibility setting for it.
OK, I ran GXsetup.exe (Important ; This is needed BEFORE you run the game. ), then double-clicked "Rayman2.exe" !!

Oh no ! I got this;


This is the "compatibility" issue of Rayman2.exe.
So I set Rayman2.exe compatibility to "Windows98/ME", and again double-clicked "Rayman2.exe" , the game started !!

No problem now in Windows 10 Pro 64bit to install and play Rayman 2.

The benefit of this Rayman 2 version over normal Windows machines running the game: you can minimise the window and the game will turn into Rayman II - paused like on Windows, but instead, it won't crash when you try to reopen the game from minimisation.

Funny how when I use Wine this miracle doesn't happen for me. Then again, different OS, different window-manager, etc.

An update : Since purchastrated a Macintosh, but my classmate wished she had got a Galaxy Note II.
