I went with uplay when I got Rayman 3 because I hadn't seen this thread, but I kind of wish I had of just gotten the GOG version now. DRM free sounds cool.

For those who haven't used GOG in a really long time (such as myself), you apparently have to download GOG galaxy to download the games now.

I actually like this system better tbh. I no longer need to remember where I installed stuff, nor do I have to use shortcuts - I can simply launch games from the Galaxy client. It's the small things, really

Well, the option to use it has been there for a long time.

Well last night was the first time I used that client but then i realized it didn’t matter anyway since I was attempting to play GOG’s Rayman 3 on a windows 8, which I don’t think functions well on it.

The uplay version works on Windows 10 so surely that will work on 8. Uplay are known for problems.

I know, been using this client since beta. Also, Rayman3 GOG version worked for me on win8.1, disabling TnL (or something like that - I don't remember exactly) should solve graphic problems.

Yes I've used that before in an earlier computer I had and it worked. It didn't work here though, but I might try some other solutions that were posted on GOG/here.

With Christmas on our doorsteps, yet another GOG Sale is happening (and has probably been going on for a long time now, I never had enough time to even get close to my computer lately). Every Rayman game - which is available there - is on sale for really cheap. And I mean, really-really cheap. If you want to treat yourself or someone close to you, there is no better time to do so.

Nice that they're on sale again. I already have them, but it's nice that others can grab them.

I don't recall you owning a PS1, or any PlayStation console for that matter.
Also, you have a habit of taking things seriously when laughter is appropriate, such as that post and the majority of my jokes in the past. You also seem to often laugh at inappropriate times, including at the misfortunes of others or poking fun at them, yet you'd shed tears if someone done it to you.
You don't have to be mean to others for jokes, people like having fun.
P. S. The PlayStation part is one of those jokes.
Edit: I thought that post was more recent, but I guess it's still somewhat valid. Usually

should make it obvious that I'm joking.
