GOG.com
Even though STEAM holds a solid position in the preferences of digital shops for PC games, there are good alternatives like GOG. Does anyone here has got a GOG account?
Re: GOG.com
Sure, I have one
Made because of the free witcher 2, maybe 2 years ago? There are plenty of cool old stuff there
Re: GOG.com
I agree, there are lots of cool stuff on GoG. Lots of free stuff given away, that's cool. And a lot of retro games are being tweaked to be compatible, I love it (Monkey Island comes to mind)
Re: GOG.com
I made a GOG account primarily to get the classic Rayman games!

Re: GOG.com
Same here, only recently decided to expand my library a bit. Love having DRM-free games!
Re: GOG.com
Hey guys, not sure how many of you will see it, but GOG has a sale with Rayman Forever, Rayman 2, Rayman 3, Rayman Origins and Rayman Raving Rabbids. Rayman Origins is only 7 dollar, while the others cost only 2 dollars now. Great prices in my opinion for those who wanna relive these adventures, and/or don't have the games.
Re: GOG.com
Yeah, that is right. I won't purchase either Rabbids or Origins because I always have hopes that one day these might pop up in GOG Connect, and like this I transfer the STEAM games for free.
Re: GOG.com
Oh sweet - thanks for the notification.
Just got Rayman 3

Re: GOG.com
Got Rayman 2 and 3 yesterday on GOG. Seems Rayman 3 is a bit challenging on keyboard.

Re: GOG.com
Indeed, I usually play R2 with the keyboard, but I usually get the controller out for R3.
Re: GOG.com
I've never played any 3D Rayman games with controller before, might as well give it a try
Re: GOG.com
I always played with the keyboard but I always set it up on my own way.

Re: GOG.com
Yeah, don't get me wrong, Rayman 3 is still very playable with keyboard. But i feel that Rayman 3 benefits more with a controller compared to Rayman 2.
Re: GOG.com
It is certainly more profitable in terms of combos but it is really sad that in PC you can't program the buttons of zooming in and out, which are crucial to perform some difficult combos that you really need to be quick to catch the Matuvu. I think you can only bypass this by programming a macro key if your keyboard has got that ability.

Re: GOG.com
Tried setting the look-mode button to Pad0 like it is in Rayman 2, but that doesn't really help. Also I notice I only breached 500k points after I set jump to A and grimace to S. Coïncidence?
Re: GOG.com
Hey Guys, GOG has another sale on most Rayman games, so if anyone planning on buying them, it is definitely a good time to do so
Re: GOG.com
Yeah, my father has! He only made one so he can buy Rayman 2 for PC for me.
Re: GOG.com
Rayman Origins is part of today's highlights on GOG, and can be bought at half price for 8.49 euro. The GOG version also includes the soundtrack, avatars, artworks and wallpapers, so this is kind of a nice treat for those who don't have the game, or would like to buy it for their friends/family. Can be a cool christmas gift as well

Re: GOG.com
I have had an account on GOG for years now, JUST for the first 3 Rayman games, though I do have some others too. I've been thinking of going back to it and checking again like I used to.
Yup, I remember that too! If I recall there was a forum on GOG that addresses the problem.Thebananacrafter! wrote:Ahh yes, i remember getting Rayman 1 from there and the music was broken
