World History: What event is your favorite?

Was Thor a Viking again? I can't remember. Thor, like World War II, was awesome.

Actually, Thor was a god. The god of thunder, kinda like Zeus.

I know that already, what I meant was, was Thor a Viking god? Did the Vikings worship him? Some of them were Norse, so I'd be inclined to assume that they did.

Yes, he was the son of Odin, the lord of the Norse gods (æsir). And all the Vikings were Norse. Viking = Norsemen.

No, Look I know this supposed to be said in the religion thread, but if Jesus the Son was to come back and pick us all up in 2012, there would have bee an Anti-Christ that was supposed to rise up in 2005 along with the False Prophet. He would have been ten times worse that ten Hitlers. Has he risen up? No, at least not yet. People will come up and try to trick you when the world will end. Don't believe that stupid Aztec calenders! The Anti-Christ would have seven years to rise the before Apocalypse and a lot of things like the sun, the oceans, the rivers/lakes, and 4 other things will be turned to blood.
Then the Final Battle between good and evil takes place. Then the Lord will rule for another 1000 years, then for forever.
