Happy birthday RPC!

It feels a bit weird being 2 years older than this community
Makes me wonder how Greengoop feels about being younger than the site itself!
It actually makes the atmosphere seem really cool knowing how much history this place has to it

Indeed, it is a good thing that this forum is not only populated by men in their late thirties...

Yeah, it feels as though it was yesterday that I was saying the same thing.

I felt like I was 18 just a year ago... and I'm 26 now... Life sucks...

Yeah...

There are so many things I would like to do in life, like writing fantasy books for all of my ideas
or cultivating giant fiels of plums, but it's too short to get really to do all of it and experience everything-...
Oh snap, let's not turn this topic into something philosophical about life or something
I can't wait to sound like
-even more like- a boomer for the next generation of RPC users

...I was gonna make a boomer joke about them playing something like Rayman 17 by then while I would still be stuck on prehistoric games like 1, but let's be real... we're never getting to that number aren't we?

Yes it would be. Because it’s Ubisoft after all

Especially when they make stupid claims how people should get comfortable about not owning games?

You got the point there man

As always... If buying doesn't mean owning, downloading doesn't mean robbing

It always reminded me of the EA lootbox situation!

Lootboxes are surprise mechanics? Then, pirating games is a surprise discount!
Purchasing a game is not owning it? Then pirating it is not stealing!

Was FIFA one of the first games to introduce the lootboxes?

Yeah this is the main reason I won't support Ubisoft. I'm comfortable by not supporting them.

I think I must have said something when I saw that announcement on Twitter!
Oh, they don't need to worry... they're really going to get comfortable with me not "owning" any of their games!

It was a horrible idea, but at least the CM did a perfect performance...

They sure did a great job at making sure no one wants to try their "game"

(Plot twist: what if the CM themself hate the NFTs and purposely try to scare away Rayman fans

)
