Sorry about it. I know that even the green one is quite eye-catching, but considering how hard it will be to beat the previous record, I don't think adding a notice and a countdown is out of proportion

Yep, it uses JavaScript but I had to take into account the difference between your computer time and our server time, so that everyone starts at the very same time

It's totally useless right now but I want people to know exactly when to start. 24 hours is short, and all messages posted one second before or after the record won't count.

I don't really consider 24 hours short. :\ A full day is really the only way to catch everyone in every timezone.
