Haha, well I guess there's one thing I'm good at in a 3D program. The thing with animating is that you need to be able to see and predict how physics and the world interact. I'm not much of a modeler myself. I'll leave that to you.
Although I must warn you that your model took up 160,000 polygons, and that's
waayy over the limit for a game target model. I reduced it down to 6,500, and you can't really tell a difference. Also the rig was totally glitched up when I opened it so I wasn't able to use it. But I think I'm actually fine without the rig, as I'm already so used to hand-animating these guys. The reason why I've noticed it's probably not such a good idea to use a rig with Rayman limbless characters is because they don't have a defined length in which their parts can move, it's more abstract.
Question: how do Rayman's attacks work?

also attacks such as punch and kick

By polygons I mean the poly count / vertices. Not much other way to describe it. The amount of faces that make up the model. And by glitchy I mean the bones were spazzing all over the place when I touched them.
However the characters like Ly which have limbs would need a rig for sure.

Nope, only your model. But it's fine for the time being.
When you say punch, do you mean a normal "swing punch" or where Rayman winds up his fist and throws it?

Nope, the fist would probably be an external animation.

I see you added images from''Eat at Joe's''. They look quite good!
In fact, Joe is only a couple of kilometers away from my house:
The restaurant says ''EAT AT JOE'S'' on another sign, but I couldn't find an image of that.
