Hm, it has the PS3 at the end, perhaps it's an expansion or something related to LBP Hub that they announced a few months back.

Just looked up LBP Hub, as I never heard of it. Sounds awesome, even though I already own LBP2 digitally due to PS Plus (as a result, I sold my physical copy. Same with Karting).

Looks like it may be some DLC aimed at making more advanced, fast paced platformers.

Hm, I'm curious why they'd need a wall jump though, seeing as the bounce pads could easily fulfil a similar function anyways.

I've already played games in LBP2 with working wall jumping, though it was somewhat buggy.

It's beneficial though, because placing bounce pads in certain areas my not be aesthetically pleasing, especially if one wanted to make a parkour style level or something. Just kind of breaks the immersion if you're playing say, a jungle level, and you want to create a "wall jumping" section, and just place a bunch of bounce pads up along a wall, that look out of place. It's also just generally more convenient for saving development time for creators, as placing lots of bounce pads between two walls or something could be tedious. There's also the fact that you could potentially make Mega Man X style wall jumping, and it's likely it can be used to slide safely down walls.

The glide also looks cool, though it's easy to make gilding/flying Sackbots. I made Spyro and Cynder ones, with fire breath too.

Meh, I've never been that interested in Minecraft; I never really saw the appeal, personally. It just seems like Lego: The Game.

Precisely why I like it, I usually play for the creative mode.

That is exactly why I like it, too. :P

It's like legos in a way.

Yeah, I've dabbled in the survival mode, but it's the ability to make intricate sculptures, buildings and indeed, gadgets, that draw me to the series.

I've never liked that gameplay style. personally. I tend prefer games with a set goal and/or that are story-driven, rather than the "make your own world" type.

To each their own.
Anyways, regarding what Brawler posted earlier regarding LittleBigPlanet, it was just an expansion pack:

For those who have not seen my post in the PSN topic, I recently got a Vita. After, six days of ownership, I must say I am very pleased. The user-interface is easy and intuitive to use, the shape of the console itself is excellent and very comfortable for my rather small hands, and games look fantastic on the OLED screen. The retail games I have purchased so far have been Rayman Legends (which I might review sometime, as I don't believe many here have played the Vita version), Gravity Rush, and Tearaway. I also bought Limbo on PSN and received Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD, and Wipeout 2048 through PS Plus. So far, Gravity Rush is good, Tearaway is an absolute delight, and Limbo is brilliant. I found Uncharted and Wipeout rather meh though. U:GA has high production values, but so far, there has been very little puzzle-solving, exploration, or stealth like I though there would be, at this point in the game, all it has been is balancing and jumping off ledges, shooting segments, and the occasion task requiring use of the Vita's touchscreen or rear-touchpad, not to mention the weak story. Either way, there are several other games that pique my interest as well, so I will have plenty to do on my Vita for some time.

Hm, I see, so it feels justified to you, alright.
I know my younger sibling wants a Vita, while I want a 3DS. He also wants a PS4, which I'm not very keen on at the moment, as it'll mean we'd have to sell the PS3 in order to get it.

You could always start saving money for PS4 and one day have enough and still not sell PS3.

Also this post is interesting:

More Crash teasing by Sony. Also, one person who wants to be indie developer talked with Activision and Sony and what actually is happening is that Activision gave Crash licence to a Bank and now, many studios are trying to outbid other in order to obtain Crash rights.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss gets a lot better in the second half of the game. More puzzles come in and it feels more open ended. Stealth also becomes more possible.

No one in their right mind should sell a PS3 for a PS4. ;)
