Man, I wish I'd been around long enough to witness some of the older events. Having joined in 2009, I feel out of place.

Joining early doesn't mean you would be able to see them. If you joined early that just means there is a chance you might miss them.

So don't worry. Don't look into the past, and try to make memories of now for the future.
