Its honestly quite childish. If you don't agree (especially with the whole not liking R2 thing, which is practically trolling everyone on this forum) just make your point without insult and move the hell on.

Seriously this is all I see in you:
I find this incredibly lolzy

I mean you're telling me I'm wrong to try and give another side of the coin, and that it's wrong to try and put some effort into it? I dunno who pissed in your cornflakes, but your definition of tirade and mine are very different.

And FYI, I'm deadly serious about R2. If you think I'm trolling son, then you're seriously braindead in thinking no one could possibly have an adverse opinion on that game.

EDIT: Reading it again, did you even read my latest post? Obviously not, as I was actually trying to explain the difference between innovation and randomly changing things and getting flamed for being different to the original. Clearly you're paranoid about being wrong on the internets- which in this case, you are. :V

Notice the word 'practically' On a forum of people who generally love the game, no matter your level of seriousness, you are going to illicit a lot of negative reactions. And i'm not saying don't present a flip side, that would be braindead. Its just your 'ohmahgod someone liked wrath of cortex, they must be joking. I better use my superior intellect to show them the truth' thing you've got going with most all of your responses. No one cares. Just move on, and lets return to discussing Origins. The point of this thread.

Guys, even Spiral has stopped arguing, so please forget this heated discussion and remember that it's all a question of personal tastes. Now this argument is revolving more on substance than style, so let's focus on Origins instead of getting tangled up in sterile altercations.

I mean, if you really hate new things that bad, go and stay in the past and play the same games over and over again. Even better, just stick with Nintendo. They've been putting out the same crap with different names over and over for the last two decades :V
I'm not living in the past, I just happen to like games that are traditional and games that embrace their, errrm, origins. It comes as no surprise that although I hated the idea of Oddworld being in 3D, I actually quite liked Munch's Oddysee, because it retained the same DNA as the first two games (but not being 2D it didn't quite hit the mark with some people, but that's understandable).

I'm the same with music. When I buy an album by a certain band or musician, I fully expect that album to sound like that band or musician and not sound like something that could have been made by anyone. I doubt there's any Duran Duran fans on here, but their recent album was a 'return-to-roots' effort and it turned out to be their best album in over twenty years, because it actually sounded like Duran Duran. It was what all the fans had been waiting twenty years for them to do. The album currently holds a score of 80 on Metacritic.

Back to gaming, Rayman Origins is already proving yet again that if you want to please the fans and critics alike, then it's always worth drawing inspiration from a game's past.

Have a nice day.

Paradigm and Rubber, which words did you fail to understand in my last message?

I don't know if anyone's interested, but GamesRadar has an article about the game: http://www.gamesradar.com/xbox360/rayma ... e_comments
I'm actually surprised by how much they praise it. They generally don't seem to care much for the franchise, even going as far as to say, in their Rayman 3D review, that Rayman being in it is a negative. Guess it depends on the writer, but still.

Oh, good going, Gennaroc! :pascontent: The argument was over and you just HAD to revive it, didn't you?! Just shut up, both of you, so we can seriously discuss RO!
Michel Ancel was hypocritical about RO- I remember seeing an interview with him where he says the reason RO won't be released for iOS is because it's a game for multi players and it needs to be played on a big, far away screen... Well, then why will they release it for the Vita and 3DS?!?!?
Edit: I'm also concerned about the Teensie players- remember in the first trailer that Rayman's hair and Globox's hands had a new ability- to blow air. Well, every character has to have that ability, but I'm not sure how they're gonna pull it off with the Teensies, since they glide with their cloaks...

Maybe because it will be playable with several consoles, each screen centered on a character? I don't know whether the iPoo implements such a multiplayer system.

If I understand correctly, the game is played with two iPhones connected to each other? Then Ancel's decision may have something to do with one of Apple's many infamous policies.

I still don't get why this frikin' game wont get online!!! It would be so awesome to play with your friends all around the world. That will probably be in the 3DS, Vita & PC version tho.

They actually have lots of games with that mechanic (using either bluetooth or the internet), Hunchman. btw, I found out how to edit the wiki and I've already said some things should be changed, some mistakes etc. So can I, or do I have to post them first on the discussion?

I'd discuss what you'd like to do on the talk/discussion page first if I were you.

Yeah, I saw that, so do I just say what needs to be changed and all (sorry for being a pain in the butt... :( ) You see, in Mr. Dark's page, it says he'll be the main antagonist of RO, which was proven false, and also puts the image of the strange guy from the new trailer as Mr. Dark. I just wanna change that to 'maybe it's him' and delete the 'main antagonist' garbage, do I have to go through all that talk nonsense?!

Which must come. However, what if I play alone? We've already seen that some things can only be done with multiple players (some things even require all 4!). Will 3 AI's always accompany us? If that's the case, I forsee that either the AI is too good and the AI does all the work while you constantly respawn, or the AI sucks ass and you end up hating it.

If I remember correctly, Ancel stated that when you're not playing with a few players, you have to perform an acrobatic move.

@iambored2006: You are welcome to edit the wiki, but please read the basic rules and the manual of style first. If you are to upload pictures, please read the image help page; more help topics can be found in the help section. You are not required to ask for permission for minor edits, but you might want to do so as a beginner. However, it is necessary to ask fellow RayWiki editors in a talk page or in the forum before any major decision. As concerns Mr Dark, I have already amended the part on the identity of the mysterious being from the trailer, but hasn't it been confirmed that he would still be the main antagonist? In any case, thank you for participating and have fun on RayWiki!
