I see this at the bottom of the board index many a times, is there any noteworthy reason why there was such a massive amount of activity?

Most likely a bot invasion.

Blimey, I must admit, your last point about us posting quite a bit today rings true, I don't think I've ever been this active (barring Record Day of course).

I'm actually refraining from being too active so that the Index isn't flooded by orange names. I've even hidden my online status right now, as this is my first day day of Summer after my last day of high school, so I've been rapidly switching from vegetating online nearly non-stop to working on a Logic session almost all day.

Great work guys! Anybody want to take care of the second half of 2012? It's quite empty.
