February 2017:
On Valentine's Day, Tunderous makes a thunderous arrival on the forums, bringing to an end an activity slump that has lasted over half a year.

Well, he created a few topics. And these topics get a fairly high amount of posts, so...
It was obviously Hoodcom who caused the sudden rise of activity.

No problem, at least yours truly is #1 this year in posts so far.
Posts since he signed up: 79.
My post count since that day: 173 and rising.

I think it's best to simply mention the surge in forum activity, though I want to see how long it's going to last before we add it to the documentary.

Agreed, my post was tongue-in-cheek.

But I think you'll find it's already been added!

Haha, I'll just wait to see how it goes and I'll edit it then if need be (hopefully I won't).

Looks like it might need to be edited, it seems we're about back to normal rates again.

It probably was a one time thing. Though, reviving old topics and posting new ones obviously seems key to spiking up activity levels.

We went back to the 2017 average on Friday, but then Saturday was about 50% more active, making it one of the best days of the year so far. If we could keep this up, that would already be a significant improvement.

Link is dead for some reason.

Just like the game itself is dead.

The thread seems to have disappeared, I've tried to find it, but no avail.

Hmm, I'll replace the link in the OP, but looking at the links, the topic that was linked in the documentary is a different one to the one you've shown. There are topics with IDs of 13006 and 13008, so I'd imagine the topic linked did exist at some point. Why it doesn't now, I don't know.

It must be the same topic. How the ID number could have changed mystifies me, but I assume it's related to the move to the new site. Hunch could probably tell us more.

Each new mafia game is a created as a new topic, but once completed it is merged with the mafia archive topic, making information easier to find. The link was still broken but I've fixed it, should be good now.
By the way, I'd love to play a new mafia game soon.

It'd sound like a fun time, but I don't know if we've got enough active members. There's also the matter of being able to play competently, if memory serves, one of the reasons that the Mafia won a flawless victory was because of how unorganised the villagers were.

I have literally never played Mafia, but I would be interested if we ever decided to start a new game...
