3D Rayman 2 spin-offs could only reasonably exist between 2000 and 2002. We got one. It was kind of cool. There's no way Ubisoft would make a game in 2016 that's heavily entrenched in the story or aesthetic of a game from 1999, though. Especially considering that the masks plot isn't complex enough to support a Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead-style parallel story. Least of all one with a new character who never appeared in Rayman 2, met Rayman, or actually got her hands on any of the masks. The closest thing to this that could possibly happen is a game starring Barbara.

I'm not familiar with Indy but I've seen people on this forum make much more ridiculous propositions over the years.
