I see! That's a bit unfortunate, but it's still good that the good old Polish localization was not forgotten.
Yeah, especially that's it's a good one - God I wish the release of the games I own had this translation included.
Btw, I wanted to ask because I've seen that the Rayman Forever is on sale on GoG too and I wonder if this version is any different from the one that was included in the Rayman Collection for PC?

I think it's the same version, but they may have introduced after-release patches that fix the butchered soundtrack.
Edit: I guess they didn't include it; all forum posts still mention it as a user-applied patch, often using Plum's TPLS TSR.
The GOG release does include the MP3 version of the complete PSX soundtrack.

I tried to launch the R2 GOG version to check. It makes Galaxy crash everytime.

Thank you. Well, I hope they fix it some day if not I'll just go with the patch. I'm still in awe how much this community does for the games. I thought Touhou fandom was out there, outdoing themselves, but Rayman community is another level

It is great to see, isn't it? I'm glad to see how strong the Rayman community is.

It is! Thanks to the whole community I stayed with the series for so long. Games are a big point in it as well, but the community showed me that I can do a lot of things with the source material - believe me, seeing someone making an oc for Rayman, having fun and sharing the whole content was an amazing thing for me back in the day. It still is, but to think people here are so determined to make a whole remake version of a game, it's just incredible

Looks like most Polish localizations in the series are pretty good. The term "Małak" was not introduced yet in this one, but a lot of people have fond memories of it.

Oh yes, Polish localizations of Rayman games are excellent. In fact, Rayman's so popular here mostly because the games were translated to Polish, other half is because these games didn't need a gaming PC back in the day. You could have a simple PC and you could still play them.
From what I know people here usually like the second game as much as the third one, sometimes they prefer the second one over the third and vice versa, but usually when you mention Rayman everyone are like "Oh yes!" and then you can talk with them for hours on end.
I can even tell you that they made a small dubbing in Rayman Legends and the voice fits to a T. I swear, it's like they're trying to not let the quality of translation and dub in these games fall flat since the third game's release XD
