I wonder if this was already mentioned, but there was this joke flash website:
www.raymanrr.com, where you clicked on the elements on the page, until you found a section to send a message. I wanted to leave some screencaps since now it's difficult to view the website (I had to use Ruffle).

I'm glad you found those, Elite Piranha. Did it have something to do with rabbidscards.com or something like that?

I'm not sure. I found the url in RRR box art, and when I entered it in the Wayback Machine, it directed me to that flash website.

Wow, it’s been years since I’ve seen the old flash website up. I’m hoping that as Ruffle develops, this and many of the other lost early Rabbids websites are preserved.
I remember going on the rayman-fanpage and just religiously checking out all the websites for Rayman 4/RRR. I wonder if even a quarter of them exist anymore.

I remember going on pok2's fansite rayman.bonusweb.cz, which had previously won RZ's best-fansite competition…

Over 16 years later. The prototype for Rayman Raving Rabbids has finally leaked. All the prototype rabbid models, the platformer movement, the open levels, the mounts, it’s all there and more alongside the source code and editor.
This is a monumental day for Rayman 4. 205 pages in this thread and we’re finally able to play the game that was briefly shown in E3 2006.

Well, this has been a huge speculatory thign for Rayman fans. It's kind of crazy that we can see it now, if this is it. Well, I know it's probably it. So, I agree, sure is monemental!

Yes, more about it in the
Rayman 4 thread.

I realized that RayWiki was missing information about the
early development environment for Rayman Raving Rabbids on the Nintendo DS that was leaked earlier this year (particularly notable for containing the entire Rayman 2 engine), so I took it upon myself to write about it in the
Rayman Raving Rabbids (early production) article. As I was refreshing my memory with
Droolie's video about how the early build ties to the
unused dialogue found in the game in 2018, I wondered what actually led us to assume that the discarded storyline was in fact created for a now cancelled Rayman 4. Surely, this is entirely possible, but I don't remember reading about a cut Rayman 4 for the console whose plot features similar elements. It is possible that the game that eventually became Rayman Raving Rabbids for the Nintendo DS was simply a spin-off game, just like Hoodlums' Revenge was?
In any case, if anyone feels like adding more information about the discarded plot in the "Leaked prototype" section I just created, your help is more than welcome! So are wiki-quality screenshots of the test levels, notably where Rayman battles Uglies and Podocrocks. Thanks!

Since seeing Droolie's videos, I always assumed it was a spinoff. I didn't realize the wiki suggested anything different...

I don't think the wiki suggested anything different, or anything at all for that matter. I couldn't find anything related to that link, so I went ahead and mentioned both possibilities.

Fair enough, but I think it's highly unlikely that that story was ever meant for the console version…

That's what I thought as well. Is it even worth suggesting in the article?

I suppose now that it's there, there's no harm in keeping it… Also, I noticed that the giant Uglies are said to be placeholders. Is it worth mentioning the alternative possibility (someone previously said it somewhere on the forum) that the world of Lebahr was to have evil Uglies since it was the opposite of the Glade we know and love?

Sure, we cannot rule out that possibility!
