Glad this has been cleared up! But that sounds so stressful... have you taken time to relax after yesterday?

Well, I'm off today so at least I don't have to juggle work stuff and catastrophic failure recovery.

I did have to take a break yesterday evening though as I was getting pretty tired from all this, so I watched a movie before getting back to work again. Now I'm rather well rested and ready to tackle the rest of the issues, but I'm glad to I managed to restore service for most of our websites yesterday.

If PC was a company, it would probably take them weeks. This community is the best and has amazing leadership

Tbf, it's not the first time we've had this kinda downtime, I think you've gotten us back pretty quickly. And once again proving the importance of getting backups. Although I do see some of my posts have been lost to the aether...guess I'll have to reiterate some things then xD.

I did notice I couldn't access the server when checking something on Rayfanpedia yesterday, and it gives an internal error now. There are indeed a few issues left like RayWiki not displaying its banner or its top-left logo.
Seems like that hard drive wanted to give everyone a big spook to everyone for Halloween...
Props for dealing with most of the issues so quickly! What matters is that all of the essential is safely preserved!

I had hoped it had something to do with my internet cache, but I feared it was an internal server error instead. Very impressive that you fixed it this quickly!

Thanks for the kind words, guys! Some of the remaining errors appear to be the most annoying to fix, but I'm getting there.

Are you aware of all the errors Hunch?

I'm aware of some of them for sure, but your question is kinda like asking someone if they're sleeping.

What I meant is that there's no way for me to know if I'm aware of
all the issues, so do not hesitate to PM me with a full list of what you've found.
Rayfanpedia should be back and running now, by the way.

Thanks guys! I'm also happy to announce that thanks to our own PluM's expertise in data recovery, all posts from October 30 have also been salvaged from the broken disk! Absolutely no data was lost in the end.
