Don't you mean "
generated"?
I guess it's nothing to do with when they were born, given that all these characters come from different planets. It's just some random personality traits. If anything, I'm actually surprised that nothing like this has been made before…

At least this didn't come from RayWiki.

I'm actually surprised there never was a topic about this here!

I think the capricorn thing might be legit. I found a
news entry from RaymanZone that links to an
old Rayman Myspace page with some info about the character. This could still be made up by another community manager, but it is definitely not new.

Couldn't that just be whoever is running the MySpace? Well, maybe, it's just some obscure lore thing.

Yeah, that could be the case. However, maybe the people behind this thought it would be more engaging to pretend that the character Rayman created a Myspace page, in hopes that younger audiences would follow along (which may had happened since the very last comment was: "Hi Rayman!nice to meet you!").

Capricorn... interesting.

I've always considered Rayman a Virgo since his "birthday" would be September 1st.
It's probably not actually that deep, but hey, it's fun to think about anyways!

We must now attempt to determine Rayman's real birthday with this information.

Well, according to Betilla:
Conjured from the magnificent moonbeams of the second summer solstice, woven together by us, the nymphs, destined to preserve the equilibrium of the sacred universe, the one we call: Rayman!
According to Google, the period belonging to Capricorn is December 22 to about January 19; the second
summer solstice is in December 21 or 22; so, if I'm understanding this correctly, it could be December 22.

OK, I'm not sure if you guys are being serious, but I have to point out that Rayman was not born on Earth, or in the vicinity of any of the celestial bodies known to earthlings. Therefore, he does not have a birthday on any earthling calendar, nor does he have an Earth-centric star sign. His association with Capricorn is only because whoever wrote that thought he was the best Ubisoft character to represent that sign – and yes, I suppose it is good that they thought of him at all…
Also, Rayman's world has two summer solstices because it has two
suns. Ours has one in the Northern and one in the Southern hemisphere. Admittedly, I never thought of calling the Southern one the "second" one before, but I suppose if someone travelled between the two hemispheres and experienced them both every year, that could make sense in a way…

I was half-joking (it is fun to speculate). However, some of Rayman's games take place in the real wolrd/Earth (like RRR2), therefore the capricorn sign might be true in the alternate universe where Rayman has always lived on Earth (I mean, in R2 we don't even know where he was born, only where he was found; with the crazy tech the rabbids have access to, I wouldn't be surprised if Rayman is not even from the Glade of Dreams in some storylines). Of course, as you have said, trying to figure out Rayman's original birthday in the Glade of Dreams is a whole different animal.
I'll admit that I was cheating by using info from Rayman Origins and other from an old social media page created after the first RRR came out (I assume), which are not really connected.

Well, I guess most of us thought the same when we read this:
https://twitter.com/AndyPlaytonic/statu ... 7998064681
Ubisoft says it has cancelled three unannounced projects and will now focus on its “biggest brands”, following slower than expected sales, notably Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Just Dance 2023.
Not gonna lie, I'm not surprised at all...

Well, isn't Just Dance one of their biggest brands?

Glad to see him active after almost a couple of years.
Maybe I'm missing some context
here... What happened?

Every generative tool I used gave similar results, copyrighted characters like Rayman must be excluded from their training sets.

It seems now it is easier to produce Rayman images with Craiyon. Some examples:

Nice, the first one is pretty creepy

For some reason he doesn't have pupils in his eyes but in his tongue
