Polish used "loom" whenever translators didn't mess with the word too much, and even in the one case they did, RM, it was still the "oo" sound. Note however that most of our translations weren't exactly pieces of art, and it is the obvious pronounciation when you just put letters "lum" in Polish text.

I need your help!
As you might know, I have created maps for two Rayman 3 minigames: 2D Madness and 2D Nightmare. I've started remastering the 2D Madness map and it's looking a lot cleaner than the original map I made. However, I'm currently busy studying for exams, so it will take a while before it's finished. Anyway...
After I have remastered the 2D Madness map, I want to move on to the 2D Nightmare map. However, the
current map is incomplete.
2D Nightmare (
RayWiki article) is exclusive to the GameCube version of Rayman 3. Unfortunately I don't have a GameCube, so I can't play 2D Nightmare myself. I made a map based on
this YouTube video, but that video does not show every area of the minigame. So currently there are some gaps in the map. Here is a small part of the map, with the gaps highlighted.
As you can see on the full map (
link) there are many more gaps than those shown above.
This is where you come in!
Do you have a GameCube with
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc? And do you have an Action Replay device for the GameCube? If you have some spare time, please help me out! Using
these instructions, go and play 2D Nightmare and make screenshots or a video of your playthrough. Be sure to visit the currently unmapped areas! Then upload those images or the video somewhere so I can watch it. I will use that to complete the map of 2D Nightmare. Once the maps are finished, they will be uploaded to the RayWiki for the benefit of mankind!

I was just looking at ordering an action replay off of eBay. I have the GameCube version too, so if no one else does, maybe I will in the next month or so. I'm sure other people have them though.

That's awesome! Thanks a lot! And you just made the 4444th post in this thread, well done
Here is an example of the remastering process I'm doing now:
Old:
New (work in progress):
I also have a problem...
That download link for the GameCube textures gives me a ZIP archive that can't be opened...! Neither 7-Zip nor Windows itself can open it - it gives me "invalid archive" messages. Droolie (or someone else who has that texture pack), could you set up a working download link?

This is the kind of moment in which 'tagging' a certain user could be useful... it's good we can't though - imagine the trolling. One can only imagine the extent of the senseless, mindeless trolling...

The archive was broken because my download was interrupted. My internet connection is slow and unreliable
I donwnloaded it again, and I can now view the textures! I found the 2D Nightmare textures too - they're the ones that start with "toudi_10". "toudi_00" is 2D Madness, and is the only one included in the PC version. But the GC has both toudi_00 and toudi_10

Just out of curiosity - what is the correct link? You were saying it didn't work, before.

The correct link is the one I quoted (

Did YouTube rape your family? If not, you'd be silly to want to upload videos somewhere and not use YouTube.

Well,I don't want to make a YouTube account just for a video.I don't have so many videos to upload.

I think it is a mistake not wanting to make it go to YouTube.

I have just remembered my cousin has a YouTube account:

I will upload the video on his channel.

TFD, your logic surprises me. You make a YouTube account because you want to upload videos, no...? If you don't have that many now, you'll probably upload some more at some point in the future, so you might as well make an account, right?

Come now, a YouTube account isn't needed solely for uploading videos, it has other benefits as well.

Oh, you made the video already! That's great! Well, just let me know when you've uploaded the video. Remember, if you don't want the whole world to see your vid because, I dunno, you died a lot in it or something, you can also make the video only accessible to people who have the correct link - and then share the link

It's also excellent for if you want to impersonate a celebrity, most likely Nicolas Cage or Will Smith.
