I think the secret was cracked by a fleeting user called Robotic Teensie:
Robotic Teensie wrote:OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

Using Cheat Engine I have finally managed to uncover an important Rayman secret!!!!!!!

For the first time ever, I can reveal the precise requirements to open the Xowar secret door in The Tower of the Leptys!!

The requirement is: You must have over 43,000 points.

43,000 points = no go.
43,001 points = go!

The requirement will be checked as soon as the part is loaded. So at the end of the flying ship part, you must already have 43,001+ points. You can't start the part with, say, 42,900 points, grab the Matuvu (+250) and expect the door to open.

PICTURES AS PROOF!!!!!!!

EDIT: I have added the information to the RayWiki article (link). Also, the "Xowar secret" YouTube video at the bottom of that page is private and can't be viewed now, so it's kinda useless to link to it. Shouldn't it be removed?

That was a great find there for the points.

A terrible shame the user who discovered it disappeared without a trace...

Aw, crumbum! :( I kind of liked the idea of it being a reward for getting a very good score in the whole game. Oh, well!

Why not? For me I only discovered it as I was replaying the game for the fourth time if I remember well. This is not hard to reach 45k in TToTL at this step of the world. Maybe you can open it only if you have a certain number of Murphy smiles in the overall, or simply reaching an average cap for score in the group of all levels (if I remember the last two levels of TToTL don't have a score rate. Maybe because they are boss levels).

Erm, the quote I posted at the top of this page says exactly how the secret works, no need for speculation when we have the facts.

This is a major discovery that has eluded R3 players for almost ten years. No-one has been able to find out exactly what was required to open the Xowar room, until now that is.

It is indeed vital information and another "secret" of the game revealed. There'll be more to come I'm sure.

The funny thing is that Robotic Teensie posted this in the R3 topic about 3 months ago, I guess I should have forwarded it here sooner.
Regardless, the message is out, hopefully to those who needed it.

That isn't such a hard goal, though it's great for a discovery.

Just type in the code EXACTLY as it appears on the Rayman 3 Lums race code  Then tell Xenon and he will give you Tings.
Ok, thanks :D

But how the Pirate Community can transform the code into points? Someone has made the script, so someone has to know how the code system works? And doesn't that mean that you can do fake codes, if you know how the coding system works?

Can Hunch or someone explain that I can undestand.

RPC got able to have the HOF revived thanks to a colaborator from Ubisoft.

I'm assuming the codes must translate into discernible information that can be put into the HOF.
If I recall correctly, there were some high scores of 999999 back on the old RZ HOF, which frankly, is impossible by normal means, so I'm assuming there is a way to break the system.

Not here though, as i haven't seen anyone who entered such a fake score.

The HOF was on RaymanZone before Raving Rabbids has been released, RPC only was able to carry it over here many years ago. The ting reward system only works since a year.

Also, the game can generate codes for whatever scores, so that made it possible to enter fake scores.

In any case i think we shall calculate the max scores for R3HD too.

Ironically I have more points in PS3 version than in my PC version, and in my first walkthrough!

I'm trying to think what it went "better" in PS3.

We already talked about this before if I remember. I still think it is due to controllers on pads (more intuitive, more dynamic and far more practicable than a fucking keyboard).

Seriously I started to play Darksiders on PC and it's very hard to handle the movements with the keyboard. Thanks to PS2 I played God of war so I can master the gameplay more easily but it's still hard to make War do what you want in the right time instead of pushing the wrong button (Alt+Z+clic then D+Alt then OMFG ALT+F4!!!).

Take the little horse away from the rain, because I'm inside the group of people that handles better playing in a keyboard than with a controller.

I just tried and i can clearly tell that the max for R3HD Clearleaf forest is 131105 points.

If you have 98180 at the start of part 4, and do all combos within part 4, you should have 113517 at the end.
In part 5 i've found a good combo:
Part 5

Wait until one of the hoodlums come up to the upper level where you start. Kill him wih a charged hit and jump down to the secret room. Be sure you get the green gem as the last one. 118307 points
Go to the walkway on the left while charging your fist, take the two yellow gems, jump down and kill the nearby hoodlum. Go up the stairs, charge your fist and collect the yellow gem on the left, then the one on the right, then quickly jump down and send a curved charged shot at the last hoodlum. 118937 points

Part 6
Jump simply get through the level with getting.everything in combo as possible, and collect the green gem at the end after 5 items. Just keep 2 things in mind:
Note 1: In the middle of the pink part, there you can see a bunch of yellow jewels in one place. These can't be obtained once so prepare to jump off and go back, so you can get almost all the remaining ones in a 120 points combo. 1 will still be left there, so jump off again and collect the lone gem.

Note 2:
At the very end there is another bunch of jewels. Be sure to collect all of them in a 450 points combo.
131107 - 2 ( when you jump off ) = 131105 points

Why did they correct the 100k bug in the PS3 version and not in the PC version? I don't understand. If they did it they could port the update on PC fuk dat :x
