And finally the graphical details of Wii are revealed.

It seems it will abuse the maximum capacities of Wii's graphic card, by running at full 60FPS with 480p resolution.

Great trailer. the music reminds me at the clint eastwood western movies (A Fistful of Dollars).

I think the game went gold now. That would explain why they suddenly release a new trailer (also the interview is like a "the game is almost done" conformation).
So our Interview will be published soon :)

It’s interesting that they’ve gone with a Morricone pastiche soundtrack for the desert levels. Someone’s been watching Rango.

I took another look at the world map and my conclusion:

Forest (Jibberish Jungle and Cave);
Music (Desert of Didgeridoos and Band Land);
Ocean (Sea of Serendipity and the Village);
Food (Infernal Kitchens and Miami Ice);
Mountain (Fakirs and Mystic Peaks);
Rayman's Treehouse and Land of the Dead.

Considering it has Johnny Depp in, that comes as no surprise.

Well, I'm pretty sure that the red wizards aren't exactly skins. The camera is too focused at globox, and the "I'm gonna catch you" position it's almost explaining what's going on. As told before, rayman and the crew are supposed to be troublemakers at the begining of the game, maybe the red wizards are just trying to catch globox because he did something wrong, and he has to avoid them.

I knew that the granny wasn't supposed to be a boss, just a regular enemy. I'm proud of the wii version, and it makes me happy that it won't suck :3

Oh, and I have to agree with spiraldoor, I totally feel the Rango style.

I am a pro-HD guy, but it's nice to know that Wii owners will still get the maximum they can receive, 60 FPS at 480p with anti-aliasing can't be too bad for users of the wii.

In that case, I shall put it on my list of "too-see" films.

Judging by how this is getting ported to the Wii, PSvita and even 3DS with no real compromise in the visuals or frame rate, this engine they have programmed appaers to be very scalable and can't be very power hungry considering the quality of the visuals. I think the only other company that has managed to do high res 2D art based games like this so well is Vanillaware: see Muramasa on Wii which used artwork much bigger than needed for the Wii's res yet ran as smooth as butter, though their simular PS2 games had a lot of slow down in places I think.

The more they show of this the more exciting it gets. Loved the Daily Bubble footage that revealed the time attack and challenge stages. Those are the kind of things we may not of got had the game been episodic as originally planned. So glad this is a full retail release instead and on so many formats, it really deserves it.
