R1's world is probably an island because it has a beach
Belgium is a beach to and it isn't an island :P.

Yeah, maybe I'll put that in... :P

Anyway, good news. I worked on the running system today, and it's not just the normal running animation with a little more speed anymore. ^^
You now really run, and when you jump while running, you spin around in the air ( like in R1 - you know what I mean ), and it's a little harder to control you while flying through the air at that speed. I also worked on the ring swinging system, so you don't just jump off when swinging, but how fast you are swinging, etc. also matters for your movement :)
I was swinging and spinning around in the air for 15 minutes when it was finished... the animations are beautiful and the movement is really cool. I really did some fantastic work.

But anyway, this is what I still have to CODE ( I also have to make graphics and so on ) until the main engine is finished and I can start making the levels ( and another nice demo! ^^ )...
- The Enemy System
- The Boss System
- Ladder Climbing ( like in R2 )
- Ceiling Climbing ( like in R2 )
- Lum Power 1
- Lum Power 2
- Lum Power 3
- Lum Power 4
- Lum Power 5
- Helicopter Upgrades ( First you can't helicopter, then you can't helicopter for long - like in R1, and then you can helicopter for as long you're not standing on the ground - like in R2 )
- Carrying System + Upgrade ( First you can carry things, but you walk slowly, and then when you upgrade it, you can run faster, like Rayman Revolution's Run with load )
- Antitoon-specific abilities ( Biting and another thing, which I'm not going to reveal just yet )
- Fitoon-specific abilities ( No helicopter at all, no swimming, but you can light torches in the dark caves of Skops ^^ )
( omg, where's RayToon?!?!? )
- Form Changing ( not just pressing enter to change to the other forms )
- Bug Fixing: Moving Platforms
- Cages system ( 5 per level )
- The Online System

I know, it does look like quite a lot, but it really isn't. Once I finish the climbing, carrying, enemy and boss systems, I will have the engine ready in no-time. =D
And then, it's time for another demo!

A little question : what will the online game contain and what is the goal of it ?

An idea may be jumping from those pirate-ship-things. Like in the Fairy Glade, The bayou, and the echoing caves. That would be cool to :D

Well, you jump on them and then you jump very high. When you climb on the ceiling in and then jump in the room to open the door in the fairy glade as an example.

I knew what you meant :)
But I don't know if I'd use that as some online mode or not...
Talking about online modes... Rayman Deathmatch ( just kidding ) XD

And uh... I have just been doing some water effects. The water was really... not fitting the style. Now it is. Well, a little. Oh, and everything sounds different underwater, even the music! ^^

Did you redo all of the music for underwater ? Great, i really missed that in Rayman 2 ^^
