You mean the boss knockback?
Yeah the one from Skops himself is pretty unforgiving.

It's pretty evil all right, you have to time your turnaround exactly to hang onto the ledge and not end up in the lava! It's unintuitive apart from everything else, but then so are many of the boss fights in the game.

Wait why does it say only 3 seconds, but 2h 10m 00s RTA?

I think they use the number of seconds to register the amount of times they got hit, and then log the time in a secondary column. This way, runs are ordered by hit count, and then time. It's rather hacky, and rightly so, since speedrun.com is for speedrunning and not other types of challenges, but I guess they still wanted to post their failed no-damage runs.

That makes a lot of sense! Thanks for the explanation.

For anyone wondering what the rules are for NG+ ILs, there you go:
You can use all the powerups
You don't have to collect any cages
You don't have to do any bosses
Playstation runs only

Yeah, that's because regular ILs are done in the course of a regular full-game run. Which makes me realize, were the route to ever change, it would all go to hell. Not that I see it happening though.

The only thing I can think of is a glitch that would save some of the backtracking, but there isn't even that much of it in a PlayStation run.

I don't really see it happening though: for the PlayStation version, only a few cages remain that cannot be broken the first time the level is visited, and I'm having a hard time thinking of a glitch that would allow us to reach them with Rayman's early-game abilities.
