When the moons move leftwards, that means it's a flashback, so after Rayman and Globox go back to sleep, it shows what happened the previous night and how the whole game started

Like Doctor Kleiner in Half-Life 2, which was later made into the "error" sound in Portal 2

That makes more sense,but an ending would had been nicer than a flashback in my opinion,its kind of a let down that rrr wanted to explore more of these ideas and alot of these if not alo of them went unused in the final product

Yeah, it would have been really interesting to see how the Monik×André dynamic actually worked! But then maybe they couldn't make it work and that's why they scrapped it!

Yeah, in Portal 2 whenever something tries to play a sound that doesn't exist in the sound script files, you hear Kleiner going "D'oh fiddlesticks! What now?"

Id also like to see a lot more non-humanoid enemies as you can tell

and also as I have previously said, a permanent score counter which goes until you die
