Help for sound ripping

Post by Haruka »

I would love to be able to rip the French voices of Rayman Revolution and from R2TGE, but I'm not quite sure which tools to use and proceedings. Any help?

I don't remember exactly how to do it for R2 for PSX (and I don't have the files on my PC so I can't check at the moment), but I just ripped the French voices from Revolution for you. Here you go: http://www.mediafire.com/?h6wku1qf6nyv825 :)

Oh godness, thank you so much! Would it be possible to do the same for English, German and Raymanian?

I'll give you 500 Tings in advance for the French clips. :D

EDIT: Oh wow, I just heard scrapped dialogues of Spyglass and for Jano/Rayman (these two being two specific onomatopoeias they do). I would like to listen the english version of these.

Strange, I uploaded the English and Raymanian voice pack a long time ago, but no one seems to have downloaded it. Maybe I forgot to post it? http://www.mediafire.com/?u5xv8pyjgic24kd
The Raymanian voice pack especially is quite awesome - it includes lots of Raymanian speech that was never used in the normal versions of Rayman 2, only in Revolution. :)

I'll get the German voices tonight, and if I have enough time I'll also check out the PSX version then to see if I can get the voices from that. ;)

(oh, and thanks for the Tings! )

I'll keep rewarding you with 500 Tings if you upload more voice packs. :D I totally love the French one of RR that I was wanting since a very long time, thanks a lot!

EDIT: Fantastic! Here's 1000 Tings more. I'll be waiting for the next ones. :D

Thanks again! Here are the German voices from Revolution: http://www.mediafire.com/?2b5r8vnhjjiyrvn
All that remains is R2 for PSX, but I won't be able to look into that today or tomorrow. I promise to at least look into it within the week though! :D

Thanks again, here are extra 500 Tings. :D

I hope the PSX sounds don't give a lot of work, knowing there are 5 languages for it.

*Bump*

Sorry for this double post, but it is important. Is it possible to extract a single music from this PS1 version of Rayman 2? It happens there is a special track on it, which is exclusively played in the 2D Beta of Rayman 2, and it is a mixture of the Walk of Life music with jungle ambient sounds. I would be quite thanked if it was possible to extract it. :)

EDIT: Oh nevermind, I noticed it is included in the new album version of R2TGE soundtrack. :oops2:

EDIT2: OK, at a point I was skipping sound clips until a point Murfy said "I'm Murfy, the scarecrow!". I had to draw this: http://puu.sh/2vMLt

Haha, scarecrow Murfy xD That's awesome!

About the Playstation 1 voice tracks, I can't seem to get them - I can easily extract the music and the sound effects, but the voices seem to be encoded in a different way. I've been trying to get them the past few days - no luck so far. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I find it though. ;)
