Tonic Trouble Special Edition Windows 7 driver problem

Post by OCG »

OK, I remember game worked really good on Windows 7 with some older driver, but ever since I upgrated to newest driver, right side of the screen is black there are glitches. Also Rayman 2 stopped working on newest driver as well so I had to downgrade to 301.42
But Tonic Trouble still has problems. Does anyone knows which driver version makes game work perfect? I know it exist because I had it once but I don't remember version. It is NVIDIA Driver.

nVidia? Well if your on a laptop then start the games with your Intergrated Graphicscard. For Rayman 2 use DirectX 6 and Tonic Trouble the Direct3D Accelerator. They working for just fine :|

I use Direct3D, but because I have newest driver installed, there is screen flickering on right side. On Winows Vista, there is even worse problem

I guess you have no intergrated card. Your card seems not to be compatible with DirectX 5. I can't help you out since its a problem with hardware. The only way to get that working is to emulate the game.

It is NOT hardware problem. Game worked fine on my PC when i had older driver version installed. What version of NVIDIA driver you have installed?

Nobody seems to know compatible NVIDIA driver version :(
Well, Vista users got worst experiance. At least it's playable on Windows 7.
