Hey there!
I've been following this site for a while, I'm also a huge Rayman (2) fan. Sadly, I don't get Rayman 2 started on my computer.
When I click Play in setup.exe on the Rayman 2 disc, it says System out of memory (Which I kind of weird, I've got 8GB RAM, 5GB is free to use atm).
When I start Rayman2.exe in C:\UbiSoft\Rayman2, it shows the Ubisoft logo, tries to launch the game, and crashes and says that RAYMAN2.ICD doesn't work anymore.
Some information:
I get this screen when I run GXSetup.exe:
I'm running Windows 8, 64 bit.
I also tried using Windows' compatibility mode (to make it run like Windows XP), also does not work.
I've been searching for solutions to get this game running for years, but it still does only run on Windows XP or below. Hopefully you guys can help me out!

The simplest and easiest solution is to get the GoG version of the game if you can buy it, it's only for a few dollars and won't set you back much.

Hm, I already have the original CD-ROM, but I think its worth $5,99 to buy it again.
Are you sure that this version will run on new computers?

Yes it'll work on most circumstances.

You need to get a ubi.ini which is located in C:\Windows\System32\UbiSoft
It should fix this

The GOG version fully fixes the Pirate Head problem though.
