The Bargain Bin!

Post by sonicbrawler182 »

This idea for a topic literally hit me just now while I was making a certain post in the Sonic the Hedgehog topic.

So we all like to treat ourselves from time to time, but we also may be finding it tough to save up for the things we like. Maybe they seem really expensive no matter where we look, but some of us may find bargains from time to time.

So I thought it would be a good idea to make a topic where, if you find something cool at a cheap price, and want to share this deal with others, you can post about it here.

You can post any kind of bargain you find, it doesn't matter what it is. It can be games, movies, books, clothes, accessories, make-up for the ladies (or guys if that's what you're into!), anything!

If a topic like this already exists, just let me know and close this topic and all of that business.

So for anyone who is a Sonic the Hedgehog fan, or wants to get into the franchise, there is an amazing bundle on Steam called the "Sonic Hits Collection", that includes every Sonic title released on Steam (right up to Sonic Generations and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed), plus DLC where applicable!

Click the link for the full details. But to emphasise how much of a steal this is, you can get €138.93 worth of Sonic content for a measly €27.99, and this can be even cheaper during the Steam Summer Sales!
Keep in mind that to buy Sonic Generations on it's own on Steam, it costs €29.99. So this bundle is like a charity package for Sonic fans!

And for anyone living in the UK & Ireland, ShopTo is a great online store for all of the latest games. They sell brand new games for a pretty low price. You can often save 20% on new games.

Never underestimate the power of boot/jumble sales.

Like when I bought an N64 with 4 games in almost immaculate condition, two of them being Mario 64 and Mario Golf, one of the others being Tonic Trouble, for £4 at a jumble. I still have it and TT but sold the Mario games and I remember them going for at least £10 each on eBay.

There was also finding Final Fantasy VII for 50p, albeit without the manual.
