Halloween Games

Post by technology4617 »

What video games will you be playing in the spirit of Halloween?

I, myself, am going to do some sort of walkthrough that I'll upload on Halloween night. There's three games that I think would be good candidates; I think Silent Hill 2 is the best for Halloween, but I want your input. :) More important is what games you are going to be playing, though.

Silent Hill 2 (PS2):
Amnesia-stricken James has become a wreck after the death of his wife, but he can't quite remember what happened to her. Years later, he gets a myterious letter from Mary, telling him that she is in their "special place" in Silent Hill. Is someone fucking around with him, is Mary really still alive, or is there some mysterious force bringing him to Silent Hill?

The Walking Dead (PC:
A choose-your-own-adventure game, where you play as the convicted killer Lee Everett, who has been given a second chance at life in a hellish world of zombies. Lee finds a little girl named Clementine, who he is determined to protect at all costs, even his own life.

Resident Evil (PC):
Considered by most to be the father of all horror games (excluding Alone in the Dark), Resident Evil sends the STARS team on the hunt of the culprits of the cannibalistic murders that have occurred in Raccoon City. Suddenly, a giant dog attacks you, killing off multiple members of your team, and you (and the other survivors) take refuge inside a large mansion. Little do you know that the mansion is more dangerous than what is outside. I never really found this game scary, and the plot is a little cheesy, but I enjoyed it for its difficulty (the one thing lacking in the Silent Hill games) and puzzles.

For voting, you may only choose one of the above options, else I'm going to just do Silent Hill 2. I want a few votes to get in before I make my decision, though. I've heard of Quake, though, but I haven't played it. For a synopsis of the games:

Can't do a walkthrough of a game I've never played, though. ;)

Goddamn it, I guess Resident Evil it is. -_- Maybe I'll do Walking Dead also as a double-feature, considering how easy the game is.
