Here you can discuss the comics, the game(s, if you count Activision's shit stain on a great game as part of the series), and the TV show of this awesome series.

I'm actually quite surprised that a topic like this didn't already spring up, since the series has become so popular. I haven't read the comics or watched the TV show (which I would like to see), but I have played the entire first season of Telltale's game, and it easily ranks in the top five best games I have ever played in my life, coming in at about second-place, next to Conker's Bad Fur Day. Though the graphics look like ass (to me, anyway), the narrative is fucking outstanding and has touched me emotionally in ways that no other game has. Though the narrative might not be important to everyone, it is to me, and Walking Dead certainly changed what our expectations are in this area.

I want to play more of Telltale's stuff, as they seem to be an excellent, if small, developer who puts a load of passion behind their games. (Well, except in the case of Jurassic Park, anyway.)

So, first of all... I own compendium 1 and 2, so I have the first 16 chapters in 2 books
I have the game, it's pretty awesome, though completely different than the comics.
I have the soundtrack from tv series season 1 and 2, my sister gave it to me for my birthday, thanks sis
Oh and I watch the tv series, it's pretty awesome, though now they have caught up with the comics, so it's not following the comics anymore :/
But yeah, awesome. I'm a real life walking dead fan. (not a zombie, I swear)

The Telltale series is excellent, but you will need to play the first season, as the second season uses the data from the first season's save file, or the game will randomly choose your decisions.

I like the TV series despite some glaring shortcomings and I thought the Telltale game was excellent. I'm going to wait until all of series 2 is released before I buy any of it though.

Meh, I just want to finish my walkthrough so the PC save file is finished before I move on. I also might just replay the game on the Vita and pick it up from there, as it would be much more convenient. (I don't really want to play the mobile port again, as the touch controls are relatively unstable, the FB effects are removed, and there are framerate issues.)

I haven't ever watched the TV series or read the comic, so I honestly can't judge either of them (although a plethora of critics disagrees with you either way), but the Telltale game is nothing short of outstanding.
