Unfortunately, I doubt they will ever stop defacing RZ :tssk: I understand those who do not want their posts to be deleted every six months :|

Fortunately, an internet community is build up by it's member base and not by it's technical system or content storage. Even for some forums, mass deleting old posts, or pruning, is an well known action. We can atleast try to keep RZ a friendly place and bring as many veteran members (and ofcouse many new members too) on the forums.

This will probably weaken the chance of old members returning considerably, though. I'm guessing that Ubisoft did not back up their forums lately?

Ubisoft doesn't make any backup, it's Groupee's responsibility to take care of that. And they do make backups twice a day. The only problem is that they can't backup a part of the forums. Like if they restore a backup from yesterday, all of the other Ubisoft forums will lose one day of data too.

And they are not going to restore the whole Ubi forums like they were two or three days ago just because of the RZ deletion: this is why the KRZK have defaced RZ at the very beginning of the week-end

It was 3:00 AM in the UK when they deleted RZ, and they appear to be British. I'm either sleeping or going out with friends at 3 o'clock AM, but almost never on my comp =\

You know, RaymanZone is starting to get crueler by the second. I missed the old Anti. Everytime RZ is deleted, RZ seems to get crueler and smaller. (Ah jeez, I sounded like a twit when I said that)

Post count is not that significant, but you can deplore the disappearance of the forum content :|

I made some great topics there too. Now they are all gone. I posted them back fast so I wouldn't lose out on anything and then the other members accused me of flooding. :(

Hmm, does this mean we must make new topics? I didn't really have much of a post count.

The UbiSoft US and Groupee employees woke up a few minutes ago. Maybe they will be able to do something for RZ :|

They won't. All of the admin and moderators of raymanzone have become very slack lately. They don't even go on the boards anymore. The place is now just corrupt and full of spam.

That's what I was told by many members. As I don't go there, I can't judge. Anyway, we all know that their admins are inactive ;)

That wouldn't be because our accounts are suspended, would it?

Of course Ubi aren't going to let some hacked mods back onto the forums without checking everything out yet. Our accounts are inactive for the moment.

And the admins are completely active...
