Got swears in mine too. Mostly use it as a dA backup, along with my photoshops and videos. There's the odd reblog, but I kind of try to keep my content with a little bit of purpose these days.

It's a nice easy way of sharing images and videos etc. I wasn't keen on it at first either but as soon as I joined I got pretty addicted and it does actually motivate me to create more so I've got regular updates which is nice.

I've always thought of it like this: Facebook is to DeviantART as Twitter is to Tumblr. I have both Facebook and DeviantART. I have neither Twitter nor Tumblr.

Actually for my photography elective, it was required to create a Tumblr account. I've also considered creating a Twitter page for ROTD, suggested by PowerPatrick.

Ah, fair enough.

I've found that 90% of the population that use tumblr are either camera whores or closet emos, if you know what I mean. This is one of the reasons I despise having one, because suddenly all these people I both personally disagree with and I wish to have nothing to do with are watching me.

I barely post any of my own content but rather just reblog cute animals or hilarious gifs, whenever I've got nothing better to do it's fun to just scroll through my dashboard and see all the funny and cool things that show up.

So, what is your opinion of Tumblr?
Is it full of shit or is it a nice place to blog? I don't have a Tumblr account though so I can't tell if it's either good or bad.
