A Matuvu (from the French m'as-tu-vu [‘show-off’], literally ‘did-you-see-me’), also known as a Bo-peep [1], is a small chameleon-like creature that that can be found clinging to surfaces in various locations throughout Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. They are blue and yellow in colour. The player will hear them whistle if they are near, and they can be discovered in camera mode. Once the red circle is positioned on a Matuvu, 250 points (by default) will be added to the score after a brief moment. Finding all the Matuvus (by looking and having score added) in Rayman 3 HD unlocks the trophy/achievement Pest control.

Does this creature just appear on Rayman 3? Kinda liked it.

What's the point of making a thread just for this?
Anyway the answer is literally in the raywiki link you gave us

I don't see the issue with creating a topic to discuss a certain species in the Raymaniverse.
Do you think the Matuvu has any relation to the Glutes (Globox's species)? They're both blue frogs, but one is sentient and human-sized while one is more like a regular animal. I like to think that they share a common ancestor, or perhaps the Glutes were a species of Matuvu that was blocked off from the rest of the population and evolved independently.
What do you think the Glutes think of Matuvus, assuming this is the case? Is there maybe a form of racism between the two species? Do the Glutes consider the Matuvus to be primal and unintelligent, or do the Matuvus assume that all Glutes are annoying horny jerks? I can't imagine that they get along.
What about the relationship between Matuvus and Tribelles? Both are common creatures within the Crossroads of Rayman 3, and both have a direct connection to the score system. Are they made of the same materials as the collectibles from that game? Are they even sentient or alive at all?
I propose that we have more threads such as these. The Raymaniverse is an untapped mine of discussion.
