”ANNOUNCING THE 5TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATORY RAYMAN ORIGINS ART COLLABORATION!”
Hello Rayman fans! I’m here to tell you that I’ve been organizing an art collaboration to celebrate a game that’s very important to the Rayman series and is one of my favorite games of all time. Rayman Origins not only revived the series, but also brought back attention to the Rayman series.
So to celebrate its 5th anniversary, I would love to gather artists from all over the internet to make one grand art piece to celebrate Rayman Origins. What that means is I want one artist drawing one character from Origins. And once I feel that we have enough, I will combine all of the individual pieces and put them in one huge art piece.
Now I really want a lot of participants as possible, but I do have some guidelines.
Rules:
- Rayman Origins characters only. Be it from heroes to NPCs to even enemies, you may choose any character, but it has to be from Rayman Origins. This is the whole point of the art collab.
One character per artist. This may change if we do not have as many participants as I hope for, but in the meantime every artist participating may only pick and draw one character. I will update if we do not have enough participants and will allow already participating individuals to pick another character.
Do NOT change the design of the character drastically. What I mean by this is to keep in line to drawing the characters as they appear in Origins. I’m not enforcing you to draw them EXACTLY as they appear, but please don’t divert from the original so much that they don’t even look like the character they’re supposed to be. For example, if you’re drawing Betilla, try and match how she appears in Origins and not how she did in Rayman 1. Do not alter any skin, clothing, or body structure drastically is what I’m trying to say.
Images must be digital, transparent, and 1500x1500. This one is pretty simple. Please draw your piece digitally. If the pieces were to be unbalanced of either digital or traditionally drawn, it would make for a bad clash in the final piece. Please only digital piece. And they must have a transparent background. The size limit of 1500x1500 should be big enough to draw one character. Please try your best to fill the space.
To claim a character, message me in my inbox. It’s gonna be tricky, but please message initially on my ask box to claim a character. I answer it there if the character you want has not been claim yet.
Deadline is November 1st. I am giving you all a month to claim, draw, and send your pieces to me by November 1st. I will extend it to the 5th in case some participating individuals need extra time. But for now, November 1st is the deadline.
Send your pieces to me in a PM. Subject line must say “Rayman Origins Art Collab Submission”.
That should cover everything I want to say for now. if you are confused or think I missed something that you think is important, please message me and I’ll do my best to alert everyone participating.
