One way RaySaves can be extended is by having save-files for multiple console-versions of the games. For example, by also includign save files for ps2, gamecube and xbox for Rayman 3.
Why can´t single save-files for Rayman 2 be available on RaySaves? Even though all save-files can´t be applied at once in Rayman 2, it doesn´t prevent the save-files from being present on RaySaves.

Re: RaySaves extension
Console saves are more complicated since an emulator or modded console is required.
Regarding Rayman 2 there are 2 issues preventing saves for the game to be available. The first one is based on how the file-system works. Basically there are two important directories for saves, one with the actual saves (which can easily be shared) and the other one with the display info for the saves (save name, percentage etc.). The issue here is that the display info is all in one file for every save in the game, which means that if that file was overridden it would effect all already existing saves.
The other issue is the game itself. There's no easy way to get to a specific level with 0 Lums and cages in all previous levels. There are several times in the game where you'll be required to have a certain amount of Lums to progress. And if having 0 Lums and cages isn't important, then you can simply use the "gothere" cheat which is simpler than using saves.
