Cave of Bad dreams CAN BE SKIPPED!!!!!!!

The cave of bad dreams can indeed be skipped thanks to my favourite speedrunner(FrozenFrog) for uploading a video about it.If done correctly,this strat will save you from visiting the menhir hills twice and possibly the cave of bad dreams.This strat looks really difficult to pull off so probably practise it to get better.This is a speedrunning strat.It involves a boatload of glitches to perform including one you are familiar with.The music in the video is made from "Jericho's law"This happened in Rayman revolution(Ps2 remake of rayman 2 the great escape) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdsBetVzMjc

Wow, so turning the shell around can be used to dry-run the Clark cutscene? Interesting! I wonder if this works in the original.
Actually, I remember I once turned the shell around in the open area where the paths diverge, and when I went back into the corridor my health drained to zero, but the game just hung instead of giving me a Try Again.

Pretty sure it's Rayman Revolution only. This game is much more broken than the other versions. I know Frozen and this video is almost 2 years old. Cave of Bad Dreams is still in the latest speedruns.

This does not work in the other versions of Rayman 2(especially the 3ds version)The reason is because the games have deathtriggers everywhere in OOB areas.(out of bounds)

Amusing, isn't it? You can try to do it in Rayman 2. Ah yes, I remember watching that video before I even joined this place. Anyway, I made a video of the glitch I was talking about: I think I've reasoned it out though. There's probably a trigger at the exit of that corridor that deletes Rayman and the shell and passes control to a new Rayman+shell entity. Going back activates that trigger again, but this time there's no new entity, so the game's left with no player character, which it believes means Rayman has died. But that doesn't explain why the Try Again doesn't appear…

Aw Hell!!! I never seen that before. That is a really weird glitch. I also watched your video in the Rayman 2 thread. You used a software called 'Raytwol', correct? It seems you were sunk Since you moved the purple lums that were supposed to be used for the continuation of the rendevous area that is connected to the echoing caves in the fairy glade. Moon jump cheat never disappoints.....
