Hey guys, I have few questions about Rayman 1 for PC.
I have original Rayman Gold and regular Rayman, is it possible to replace the very first Band Land level on this one from Sega Saturn/PS1 version? This from PC version doesn't fit to me at all.
Both games I run under real DOS machine or through Rayman Optimum on modern PC. With modern PC I have no problem but on real DOS machine I have background music but I do not have sounds like collecting tings etc.
What's the best version of Rayman? Regular one I have v1.20, Gold doesn't show its version at all. (Of course I ask about PC versions.)

Replace the level? No way, at least not for now (but I think people are working on it). What's wrong with the PC one? It's a nice transition from the previous ground-based environments into the musical sky.
On DOS, you need to run the sound card setup after installing it. It should be one of the options in the setup program on the disc.
Version numbers: no idea. I don't think there are any real differences, just the form of the cheat codes and such. So on earlier versions the cheats are alphanumeric jumbles whereas on newer ones they're words.

I did and magician screams his 'PERFECT' but no sound in game, only background music from CD.
This is an answer I was asking about. Seems a lot of newer versions are 1.20.
Shame, it's only me but I'd like to see original level in PC version. What's the point PC has different level and GBA doesn't have this one at all?
