Why Apple Drive Me Nuts Sometimes

So Linus from LinusTechTips uploaded a video about how they tried to "pay" Apple to repair their iMac Pro but they refused to do so. They claimed that they (an Apple authorized service provider) couldn't obtain the parts for their own released product in order to repair it.
While they do make good phones and Macs are awesome depending on what a person needs a computer for, their customer service is absolutely appalling at the best of times. It's more often a case of you buy the product but then you're on your own from there on in, even with a warranty.
Remember now, this isn't a case of warranty, they were paying for the repair and Apple still blatently refused.
Stories like this actually make me glad I have an Android and I didn't give them my money.
I've also had a relatives girlfriend send back an iPhone 6S with a faulty digitiser (touch screen) under warranty but they said we can't cover that and asked them for €300
It wasn't even cracked, it just clearly went faulty
