Guess That Video Game Song is a monthly contest where participants have to listen a music from a random video game and find in what levels is used.
How does it work?
The game begins with a member giving the competitors the name of a random video game music and find in what level the music is. The first competitor to find all the levels will take over and give a new song.
What the starting date and the deadline for the round?
The contest begins the first day of the month and the the deadline will be on the first day of the next month.
Rules
Like most of contest in the RPC, there are some rules that must be followed. These are the rules as follows:
The name of the game and its version must be included if a new competitor post a music.
Theme song for a character, game or music for a cutscene is allowed.
Music from an unused level or cancelled game is allowed as long as we know the official name.
Fangame music is allowed.
Participants can only answer twice.
If the name of the music is the same as the level, the participants must hide the name and reveal 4 letters of the name.
If nobody give a right answer, the competitor can give a hint for his current song.
Reward
At the end of each round (after 1 month), rewards will be handed out to the top three competitors who have the most points on the leaderboard. If the competitor finishes in third place, they will receive 50 Tings. If the competitor finishes in second place, they will receive 100 Tings. And if the competitor finishes in first place, they will receive 200 Tings and will start off the next round after the break.
1st place : 250 tings 2th place : 125 tings 3rd place : 75 tings
