What I've Been Doing

For a while I decided to take a break from Rayman as I didn't know what to make out of Rayman so far, to be honest this journey with me and Rayman has been weird as I haven't touched Rayman Advance for a while since it's retarded as you have to collect electoons and crap. What does this mean? Well, I'm not going off the internet but I feel like I have decided to take a break as a whole from Rayman, not saying Rayman is a bad game, but this means I'm going away from the game a while. I'm kinda switching my attention to video making and Blockland and etc. You may think this is a bad choice but I feel bored as a whole. I'm sorry. Not like anybody knew me too much. I just have been doing stuff and I have been feeling tired of Rayman. Anywho, have a happy holiday people, it's almost time for ChristMAS!

At the risk of sounding a little mod-ish, instead of opening this thread, it might have just been easier for you to post this in Rayman 1, The You Game! or Off Topic

Aside from that, you shouldn't give up on it and most certainly shouldn't have such a defeatist attitude as to say:

It may not be the easiest game out there, but you shouldn't bash the game just because you are finding it difficult. I have played Rayman 1 since I was about 8 and it's not even that hard once you get used to it and collecting the Electoons is not a problem. Maybe the game isn't for you and I can respect that opinion, but you could've just easily said "this isn't for me, I'm not really into it" instead of using such adjectives to describe it, which in turn might not go down well with some Rayman fans.

If you needed help then I'm sure a few of us here would have been happy to oblige. We also could have gotten to know you had you decided to stick around.

To be honest, this did sound like I hated Rayman. And I'm sorry for any Rayman who thought that way, I'm not a hardcore gamer who will beat a game 100%. Super Meat Boy for prime example is a game which I'll never get to 100% due to it's diffculty like Rayman 1. I might come back as said in my post however, something like one week before Christmas or etc. I will come back before 2019 hits. I would never quit the game since Rayman 3 HD and Rayman Origins were one of the funnest platformer expierneces ever. It would be weird to say I would never come back to this community since there are so many people here with creative Rayman ideas, or just ideas. I hope this didn't offend anyone but I really made this post because I've kinda grown tired out of Rayman in general. So you might see me somewhere in Off-Topic and perhaps Rayman, I'm terribly sorry if I offended anyone. Rayman is a great game but to me the first one is kinda ridiculous with collecting all the electoons to fight the final boss. That is absurd. In the meantime, I'm going to try to find the PS1 Version of Rayman 2. No, I'm not getting the Sega Dreamcast for ONE game. It's not worth getting the thrid one as I metioned in some other forum, most likely for Rayman 3, that I have the HD version and will complete it. With dearest appolgies, SrRayman.

Well I'm not offended myself, but I just wanted to point out that it might upset some people by seeing someone criticising one of their favourite games. In this case, it's more realistically Rayman 1 as Rayman Advance is a "glitchy" port of that.

As for the Dreamcast thing, I don't blame you for that. I mean, I did go and buy an Atari Jaguar just for Rayman and a copy of the game, which wasn't cheap as it's rare! I guess other people aren't as "crazy" as me though

I hope you will stick around or at least come back to visit us as you said. If you're only taking a break because you find it hard, you shouldn't give up on it and should definitely go back to it one day. Once you get all the Electoons once, then you'll realise it's not so bad at all.

The fact that you could pass levels on Picture City shows that you'd manage as a lot of people seem to get stuck on that world.
