Something I'll start to do every year now! I don't have much Tings, but the Ting amount can be changed at any moment.
Ho ho ho! It's about time for December so I'm going to giveaway Tings now! At the moment, the Ting amount is 400! It's just getting bigger!
How to join?
Simply say you will and I will include you in the list below:

How to get the Tings?
You must post, the user with the most posts will win the Tings! Please don't put a fake amount of posts, we need no cheaters! You cannot edit your amount of posts after you submit it after the deadline, speaking of a deadline...
When will this event end?
The event will end on December 20th. You have three days to post the number of posts you made during this time! Again, don't put a fake amount of posts! I have a backup plan if a cheater wins somehow. You might not like it but it depends.
Other stuff I have to mention.
Please do not be a sore loser if someone wins and you were close to winning, just say gg and move on and wait for my next Post-A-Thon! Please no double posting, we hate spam! One word - two word posts do not count.

While I appreciate your generosity, there's a high possibility that this could end up being really prone to spam. If the contest were to happen, I think it would be best having a community prize fund, while being looked after by a staff member and having all participants would buy in with Tings. All the Tings would be added to a pot and the winner would obtain the contents of the pot.

I also think it would be best if it was just a one day contest (or at least shorter) with preparation, in favour of 3 entire weeks. There would also have to be certain rules for things such as repetitive posts or just generic ones, with no insight whatsoever such as one word posts, would be excluded from the users total count. Double posting could also be an issue, since some people can be pretty competitive.

Yeah, it could get pretty complicated, but that's just my 2 cents. We all just want to contribute to this lovely community after all.

I don't see anything wrong with this, as long that you have rules in place to prevent double posting in this contest.

There's already a forum rule against that in general, but that doesn't stop some people from doing it.
