That's an interesting crossover! How did it... cross your mind?
Yes, I did something similar.
I did this crossover because André (the Pixar character I'm referring to) shares name with the Hoodlum Lord (although I may have vaguely known that Pixar character when I was watching
Red's Dream in a Pixar-themed marathon on Disney Channel less than six years years before meeting the namesake Black Lum), as well Pixar's blue humanoid character shares similarities with Rayman (such as having cartoonish features, being bipeds, having caniform features, being created by people from the Western world...). Also, in my headcannon, Rayman's species is of the same taxonomic order as Pixar's André's unnamed species, despite being from different planets.
And as for Wally B., he is a bit similar to the Hoodlum Lord due to both have insect traits and they acted as antagonists of
The Adventures of André and Wally B. and
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, respectively. Wally B. also shares things in common with Rayman such as having detachable limbs.
I have even compared the Pixar's earliest short film to the
Rayman series: both are usually set in a forest and they generally start with the protagonists having a nap.
In other words, I made this crossoveric fan art as a result of discovering
The Adventures of André and Wally B.'s existence through Wikipedia on 13th May 2020, since this overcame my psychological trauma. Also, it is not the first time that this short film had an unofficial crossover. There are two crossovers with
Looney Tunes (specifically Marvin the Martian appears): one is called
The crossover that nobody asked for (it was painted by the Internet artist CuteCArtsy, who sadly publishes (mostly) uncensored art with inappropriate content

) and other is called
Crossover: Blushing Like Sweet Fruits (which was painted by SamanthaBaez21, a female artist who has an adorable,
Peanuts-inspired artstyle

; at the same time it is a crossover with
Peanuts, as Schroeder appears in it). There are also crossovers with Pixar's other works, including its films.
And thanks for your opinion on my latest crossoveric
Rayman-related fan art.
