Should I play the original Rayman or Rayman Origins first???
I've always been more of a PC gamer because I liked the fact you could upgrade your system and play the latest games. So I never played very many platforming games. I'm now wanting to play a challenging platformer and have heard good things about the Rayman games. I just bought a Playstation Classic which came with the original Rayman and I also have Rayman Origins on PC (I have a controller). I can't decide which game I should play first. Thoughts?

That's really up to you. You might appreciate some references in Origins more if you play the original first, but story-wise it doesn't matter. The Rayman series can be played in any order.
I should warn you that the original game is incredibly difficult, so in that sense it might be nicer starting with Origins which is better balanced. Both are excellent 2D platformers though in their own ways.

Yeah the original game is definitely the most difficult by far. In terms of difficulty, I'd say Rayman 2 is the easiest, and it's still one of my favourites too. The games aren't really canon, and really aren't known for consistency, so it really doesn't matter which one you play first. It's mainly down to user preference.
