Rayman and Joystick

Post by Lol Kuit »

Hi there,

I have a problem with Rayman 3 and my joystick. The Problem: it doesen't work. I can't adjust the controls to joystick controls. It just doesen' t work.

But if I go to the DirectX settings (where you can adjust the resolution of the game), I spotted an extra menu called "camera movement axis" with a strange blue line.

I have 5 buttons in total on my joystick (not counting the movement axis), a fire button, 2 buttons on front of it, and two little buttons with + on the right button and a - on the left button. When I press the + button, a part of the blue line dissappears. When I pressed it four times, the line is gone, but it doesen't solve my problem. It's the same on the Rayman 3 BETA Demo, only differnce is that you can't adjust the controls.

Here are a few photo's of my joystick so you can see it:

Rayman 1

Thanks :)

Are you running Rayman 1 on a emulator ? That would explain it since most emulators have an excellent support for joysticks

For Rayman 2 and 3 : you could try Xpadder. It is sad that the development stoppded tough :(

Hmm.. I've never tried either games with an actual joystick STICK, but I do use a gamepad.

You have a wired keyboard and mouse, so I can rule it out...
