O.K., CHANKAST!

You need a drive mounting software (e.g.: Nero Something, Alcohol 52/120%, DAEMON TOOLS). Use it to mount game into PC, set the settings and drive (one you have mounted) in Chankast, and try to play the game.

I have DAEMON tools
I'm not sure about settings, but mounting is like this (text may vary):
1. Extend your, err, clock icons bar (bottom right one)
2. Right-click the disc
3. Virtual CD/DVD -> Set number of devices to, let's say, 1
4. Virtual CD/DVD -> Device 0 > Mount image

After playing:
1. 2. The same
3. Virtual... -> Unmount all devices
4. Virtual... -> Set number of devices > Disable

Well, strange. But you selected the mounted drive, right? Not your normal CD/DVD/BD station?

Would 493 MB (while zipped) be a full ISO, or a rip?

Dunno. One which I downloaded was ~600MiB, but this can depend on zipper.

Something you download that lets you play console games on a computer.
