Rayman Pirate-Community

This is a problem that I never could understand.
It's impossible to play with another human player in Rayman M for PC. Everytime I try to configure the Gamepad the game doesn't detect the Gamepad, only the mouse.
And Windows detects perfectly the gamepad, as it works in other games. Anyone had this problem also? And does someone know how to solve it? I think it's a proggraming error...

Windows detects the pad in perfection. All buttons of it work.

Both of mine work.

Does your pad include sticks?

Yes.

Your gamepad is probably not supported by Rayman M. You could try the program JoyToKey. This one worked great for me

The trouble, Joshua, is you NEED gamepad to play 2P in RM-PC - you can't just play 2P with keyboard.

Right, and my gamepad model is a Lifetech AngEvil gamepad (USB cable). But years ago I had a Microsoft Sidewinder gamepad, also with USB cable and it didn't worked also.

I think it's something with your Windows, but I'm not sure, really.

What was installed first, anyway - pad or game? If game, have you tried to reinstall it?

I don't believe it's from Windows. Years ago I had Windows ME and now I have XP. The results didn't changed, and the gamepad has the drivers installed.

Err. I really give up. You haven't tested it on another PC, or using different copy of game?

I've tested it in another computers, the result is the same!... X_X

So it's problem with your copy of game, probably. Oh, I forgot - you didn't forget to set the controls for pad? And can you make sort of checksum of your RM version and compare it with somebody's another one? (Mine is Polish, so you know...)

I also don't think it's about the copy. The copy distributed in Portugal is the UK version I bet.
