Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
They used that artwork way before Rayman Rush came out and like Ly, Ninjaws was not used in game.

Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
I don't see why though. They would've been much better than Henchman 1000 and Tily.StaceyW wrote:They used that artwork way before Rayman Rush came out and like Ly, Ninjaws was not used in game.
Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
The Henchman1000 was probably an enhanced version of Ninjaws, because the Ninjaws model wasn't very... how should we say... ergonomical.

Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
Ergonomical doesn't mean anything and if it did, it would have nothing to do with robots. I think you're talking about how the hook is clunky and heavy.Xenon wrote:The Henchman1000 was probably an enhanced version of Ninjaws, because the Ninjaws model wasn't very... how should we say... ergonomical.
Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
That's exactly what I mean. He hobbles along and carries a massive hook with one arm - it would be very difficult to manoeuvre him, especially in race levels.
Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
Ninjaws isn't even suitable for a race level, for example, in Rayman Revolution, he is really slow. Yes, he can move trough the ground, but that would make it quite unfair for other players.

Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
And Ly I should imagine would be a bit too fast? Well, Globox [fat] and Razorbeard [peg leg] are slow but they programmed them for racing just fine.
Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
The problem is that Ly can teleport
Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
Exactly, as she's taller than the other characters. The Ninjaws as said before on previous posts, aren't suitable for racing with the characteristics they have.Joshua822 wrote:The problem is that Ly can teleport

I'd still much rather have him than a bunch of crappy new characters like Tily...Haruka wrote: The Ninjaws as said before on previous posts, aren't suitable for racing with the characteristics they have.

Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
The points I've seen are somewhat invalid. Very few characters in Rayman M should be as fast or as short as they are. Globox and the henchmen are supposed to be noticeably taller than Rayman but are about the same heaight in RM, and Razorbeard and Globox should be no where near as fast as Rayman. They just made rayman the standard and made everyone else fit to it, so I see no reason for why Ly and Ninjaws shouldn't have been in it.
Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
Yes that's also true.

Who said I liked Tily and Razorwife?Sabertooth1000000000 wrote: I'd still much rather have him than a bunch of crappy new characters like Tily...

I don't mind Razorwife either, but I'd rather they had included familiar characters instead of bringing in pointless new characters that have no background info.

Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
Ideally I'd have them introduce a couple of new (GOOD) characters but keep mainly to ones from the other games. And not just Rayman 2.

Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
Yep, I notice that image.
Re: Ninjaws in Rayman Rush?
I actually hated the way Ubisoft redesigned the existing characters - especially the Henchman 800, who was originally double the size of Rayman.
