No sync in FRAPS

Post by Haruka »

I don't know if more people use FRAPS to record games in the computer but lately I have been experiencing a problem of the audio sync with the video, the longer the video gets, worst it gets the audio sync... I have no idea how to solve this, can anybody help me?

I experience this sometimes. The only fix I really have for that at the moment is to simply pause recording and do a jump cut somewhere (if you're recording on the same harddrive as your Windows & game install), or to use an external harddrive and make FRAPS send the video to it. This is mostly because the videos eventually take up so much harddrive space that it slows down the harddrive's writing speed.

Well actually I have FRAPS installed in one Hard Drive and the games in other. Maybe if I put everything in one Hard Drive it will solve the problem...

Hmm.. it might not be a bad idea to try installing fraps onto the same drive as the games, but have FRAPS write to the other harddrive.

Nevermind, apparently my problem is solved. I just did a driver update for my Sound Card. Silly me... XD Thank you anyway.
