How to fix a game-stopping rayman 2 bug for ipod/iphone

Okay, if you are running iOS4 on your ipod or iphone, the switch in the fairy glade might be stuck/broken.
To fix this, open the app, continue your game, and start the fairy glade. Do not go in the water. Run forwards over the bridge to the mushroom, jump on it and when you grab the vines above, drop down by pressing jump to get back to the ground next to the mushroom. Now jump on it again.
Now that you are grabbing the vines again and hanging, get to the switch. Make sure you don't die while jumping the lily pads. It's okay if you get hurt by the piranha, but not die in the poison water. Go on over to the switch, but do not touch the net that seperates the grass and the tree trunk you hung from. Stand on the grass. start trying to shoot the switch. If it doesn't work, you need to get closer. To do this, you line up the switch with rayman and the camera, and run fowards, and jump and shoot it before you touch the net.
It worked for me.
the gate should open now and you can move on with the game.
Everything should work fine now. The thought stones should be fixed too.

Hmm, I'll try this out later as the game somehow got deleted off my iPhone before os4 came out

I was just fooling around with it one day trying to figure out how to get it to work.
Because ios4 broke the game, and they haven't made a patch yet because they are putting in all the dreamcast minigames along with the ios4 patch.

Oh btw, you get a cheat menu and a option to play the disc minigame if you get all 1000 lums.

I did jailbreak my ipod earlier, which made it run much faster.
After I jailbroke my ipod, I noticed that many apps ran faster.
The reason I jailbroke my ipod is so I could play gba and n64 and ps1 on it

Try doing a hard reset (holding home and power till your iphone/ipod turns off all the way and then let go).
Then going into rayman immediately when you turn it on and after the apple loading screen is done.

oh, and by the way I dumped the rayman 2 iphone files if anyone wants to help me search for the cheat menu, to see if there's a button combination that will activate it.

My brother is giving me his in a couple months. I MIGHT jailbreak it, I don't want it to get a virus though

You can't get a virus or break your ipod by jailbreaking.
